[Access Contemporary Music] ACM on Demand

- Integrating Musical Creativity Into Everyday Life
Thanks to everyone who tuned in to our virtual presentation of the 15th annual Sound of Silent Film Festival!
Just over 1,600 people viewed the two programs and the response was overwhelmingly positive.
If you missed it and want to check it out, both programs are still posted on our Youtube Channel.
Each program is just over an hour long and they feature new scores commissioned by ACM performed live and synced to short modern silent films.
I just wanted to drop a note to say that watching last nights program was unquestionably one of the best things I have seen in the last three months. It was truly inspiring » – Jeannette Andrews, audience member
Sound of Silent Film is a free presentation but with a suggested donation of $20 per household.
We’re just $350 away from reaching our overall goal.  If you support what we do please consider
making a donation in any amount.

Interested in learning more about classical music?  In April, ACM’s Executive Director Seth Boustead gave four lectures on four key moments in classical music history including the Romantic era, the importance of the Enlightenment on classical music, 20th century giants Stravinsky and Schoenberg and the beginnings of an American classical music identity.
Each talk is just $10 or get all four for just $30.  Support ACM’s mission and learn about some of the most fascinating music ever written at the same time!

As a production company, ACM creates innovative performances designed to foster creativity, allow for collaboration, and bring contemporary music to new audiences.
Productions include the “Live at the Davis Theater” concert series, Thirsty Ears Festival, Sound of Silent Film Festival – now performed in Chicago, New York and Mexico City, collaborations with Open House Chicago, Open House New York and Doors Open Milwaukee, the ACM School of Music which teaches musical creativity to more than 300 students in four storefront locations in Chicago and commissioning initiative Composer Alive.
